No if I were you I would keep Shareef. He puts up good numbers and is the star in Portland. Shareef Abdur-Rahim is averaging 16.2 points per game and 7.8 rebounds per game. Al Harrington is averaging 15 points per game and 5 rebounds per game. Troy Murphy is averaging 11.6 points per game and 7 rebounds per game. So I would stick with Shareef.

Al Harrington is a nice sleeper now despite the all the hype recently, his stock is low currently. For Shareef? If the rotation sticks to how it started, then I would say no, b/c Reef is putting up pretty good numbers and getting the time, however if you notice, ZBo (Randolph) has been getting more and more time and it's starting to slowly look like how the minutes will look at the end of the 2003/04 season...so essentially Reef in 04/05 could start, but if he does not produce, look for Miles to be playing most of the SF and ZBo at the 4, Theo...5 which means Reef will be bleh....

But for the time being Portland is trying to showcase Reef, which I think more than likely, Reef will still produce good numbers, start, and will be worth more than Harrington at this time...and potentially speaking Harrington could and probably will still break out, however, IF Reef gets traded, he will go 20/9 again easy as true starter, so overall Reef is the better bet.

Troy Murphy...he's good, low stock right now, by around mid-season he should be 15/10, but are you patient enough to wait? Likewise, by the end of this year, I expect Harrington to produce around 18/7.5...but then he could be a dud and be a decent but not great 15/6 guy...your call.

Safe bet: hang on to Reef for awhile, however if you're a betting man(gal), get Al Harr, but I'd say a lot of Al Harr owners are jumping the ship on him, so you can probably manuever a better deal/steal for you right now. Hope this helps.

Haha....funny, funny...hey guys. Well thought it was kind of funny/ironic so came back to post that after posting here about Reef and my other thread about Al Harrington's worth that I check my league page and what do I find....a couple of deals of Shareef for L.Hughes and Shareef for M.Daniels! Haha...strange, while like I said Reef is good and could be excellent if/when traded, with my current build I'm gonna say no. Unless...I'm wrong, any inputs?

Also interesting that M.Daniels is now starting to (re-)generate so much interest, as someone offered me Harrington for Daniels as well...I guess the minds of all fantasy bballers think similarily huh?

Yeah, fantasy b-ballers often don't trade the "established" players, but they rather deal in speculation, moving around players with big upsides (and downsides.)

Hughes has been inconsistent this year, and Daniels is still on a pretty deep team.

As to your first question, Murphy has been doing pretty badly this year as has Harrington so far. I'd keep Reef and hope he gets traded, as suggested by above.
