After such a widely publicized altercation in the Detroit game, suspensions aside, I think only one question still remains. What will this do to Indiana's unity, their cohesiveness, and their attitudes? I believe there is two directions this incident can take The Pacers in. The first road could send them spiraling out of control, tempers flaring, more repeated incidents by Artest, continuously being challenged physically by opposing teams, and emotions could infact get the best of this team and send them plummeting in their division. It's not difficult to imagine this incident lingering throughout the season, causing more issues because of the team's and it's player's inability to cope with the situation and handle the pressure that's sure to come with the world wide media coverage. The second route would be the perfect chemistry. Team mates found new respect for one another, finding out first hand that every player in that locker room was willing to goto battle for each one wearing Indiana across their chest, regardless of the consequences. Now fully understanding what it means to truly watch each others backs, bringing them closer together as a team and as a franchise. Which outcome seems more likely to occur? I'm still on the fence in regards to this issue, I honestly could see it go in several different directions and wouldn't be the least bit surprised. Without a doubt this incident will have an impact on this team for the rest of their time together, that's one thing that's for certain. The only question is whether or not it will effect them negatively or positively.

I have to go with this one, I think each of them may be shocked, that these guys really did come to war with them andhave their back. I know fighting is wrong. But their really isn't any greater love than risking YOUR own saftey to help a teamate in trouble. This was one of the reasons i loved this team. I was a little angry after we bowed at to the pistons last year. I didn't think we were "tight" enough. How wrong was i?, these guys this year had each others back, without a second thought. Thats my boyz..Go pacers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
