Talk about tonights game here.. Sorry this isnt a pretty pretty Preview:

    Who: Jazz @ Mavericks
    When: 12-4-04
    Time: 8:00 EST
    Where: AAC, Dallas, TX
    TV: UPN 21

    Jazz Pos. Mavericks
    Carlos Boozer F Dirk Nowitzki
    Matt Harpring F Josh Howard
    Jarron Collins C Erick Dampier
    Gordan Giricek G Marquis Daniels
    Carlos Arroyo G Devin Harris

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Carlos Boozer vs. Dirk Nowitzki: The free-agent signee has been on a roll lately for the Jazz, averaging 31.5 points in the last two games. That can't compare to Nowitzki's 53-point outing, however. Still, Boozer is a force that the Mavericks will have to deal with. "He's been a hot player for them," Devin Harris said. "But he has to guard Dirk, too."

    INSIDE THE JAZZ
Another snake in the grass: Mavericks coach Don Nelson said Utah, which has lost three in a row, is similar to Houston, which had lost four in a row before pushing the Mavs to the limit in Thursday night's overtime loss. "They scare the heck out of me," he said. However, Utah is missing its best player, forward Andrei Kirilenko, who is on the injured list because of a sprained right knee.

    INSIDE THE MAVERICKS
Still singing praises: The tributes keep pouring in for Dirk Nowitzki after his 53-point outburst. "Right now, he shoots with the accuracy of anyone who has ever shot the ball in this league," TNT analyst Kenny Smith said. Said LeBron James: "Nobody can stop Dirk." And then, of course, there was Don Nelson's spin: "You realize that [Calvin] Booth and Nowitzki combined for 56 points?" </div>

I think the Mavericks will pull this one out the way Dirk has been playing

Id also like to annouce Dirk is #1 in the leauge in PPG

Mavs win 109-86. Led by Dirk with another monster game: 30 pts, 7 boards, 4 blocks, 2 assists and a steal. Didnt catch this one on TV but the Mavs outscored the Jazz in every quarter and really pulled away in the 4th. I hope these back to back wins can get the Mavericks rolling and can be the start of a nice winning streak.

I agree I hope these wins can start a winning streak. Dirk is playing great right now but I know the other palyers can do better. I really think we need Finley back for his leadership.

Being someone critical at times of Nellie, I gotta give him props on this game.
Dampier was a trainwreck out the with eight turnovers, but Nellie didn't overreact
and pull him. He let Dampier keep banging and leaning and scrapping with Okur
and Boozer, and in the end, it wore those guys out. This is truly a departure from
the Nellie of old, who would yank the big man when he missed a shot. The Houston
game was another example, Damp did a great job on Yao.

But the real star of this game, you guys will think I'm nuts, but when they threw Bradley
in there for three minutes in the fourth quarter, the Mavs just blew the socks off the Jazz.
Using the zone as a change of pace just totally freaked the Jazz, I think they had three
near 24 second violations on consecutive possessions. The Mantis Rules! hehe
