) off the dribble and please oh please don't jack up threes with 15 seconds to go on the clock. * The same thing applies for Rose against Tracy or Jim. .... Say What?! I predict a close game, however, the Raps can't let the Rockets dectitate the tempo, JVG will slow the hell out of the game, this is a game where Milt 'The Stilt' Palacio would play a great role if the Raps are going to win. Straight up, a close game, with a Raps W. :-o
Raptors will keep the game close, but they won't win it. If Ming can stay out of foul trouble, and Jalen Rose shoots worse than 40%...the Rockets will take this one in Houston. But I do have a feeling that this game will spotlight Skip.
The Raptors have the advantage at the PF spot in this game, and can dominate the paint as well if the Rockets don't step it up. Here's the key, Yao needs to grab rebounds effectively in this game as well as not get into foul trouble. Our definite advantage here is McGrady. We must use him often, early, and clutch if we need to. Jackson must use is veteran skills to guard the inconsistent Peterson and make sure he doesn't do too much offensively. However, in this game, Jackson's offense is not needed if Yao or McGrady step it up in this game, although it would be nice to see him stroke some threes and get more consistent. This should be a Rockets win since they've got the home court advantage, a tough loss from the Bobcats, and a Raptors team that just had trades going on. Rockets win, 90-84.
I say Houston will win this one. It will be close down the stretch but houston will come out on top when T-Mac kicks in. Another key to this game will be if Yao can stay out of fould trouble and playe effectivly.
Hehe, I posted one for us too, but had to leave and left it sitting there .. I just posted it, and I see yours . Trip, won't be here, so any other Moderator, can we get these merged?
One word to describe this game....YAOOOOOOOOO =) Finally he is scoring like he is suppose to..now just keep it up..
We say this every time Yao has a solid game. I love seeing such production, but I'm not anywhere close to saying that Yao has turned a corner. Let's see about a month of 22+ppg, 9+rpg, 2+bpg and less than 3.5 fouls per game, and then I'll be ready to say that he's coming around.
This is the first time T-Mac and Yao had 30 or more points apiece in the same game. Great game by both players, if they can continue this great offensive performance, Houston is hard to stop.

Oh man, I predicted the crap out of this game
Quote:

Tracy, can go off for 40 on any given night, so offensively, there's a big '?' mark on who's gonna step it up today. Expect the Rockets to be reved up, and the Raptors to be flat. We have to keep in mind that Toronto played the night before, on the road. If we played up to our abilities, we really should have blown them out. I'm not particularly satisfied with this win. Besides San Antonio (which was a miracle), the only teams we've beaten recently were bad teams. Are we really playing better this month than last month? It's tough to say, because our schedule has been so easy.
