I dont' know how he's doing, but I'm pretty sure he'll stay on the IR til next year... maybe come to the lineup if there's injuries.

He's not ready for the NBA yet... he needs to get bigger and learn to play the game. He's too raw right now.

Either college or an equivalent.
It's a shame the way the system is constructed that Dorell has to sit out an entire season.

The Most Ridiculous thing about the NBA is that they don't allow players under 21 years of age to play in the NBDL. [IMG]

This rule is obsurd because they allow 17 year olds into the NBA. [IMG]

The Miami Heat could benefit from having this rule changed.
Dorell Wright and Jerome Beasley could have been playing this whole season in the NBDL getting experience and playing time against professionals instead of sitting on the Injured List.

I don't blame Dorell for going in the draft because it's an offer that nobody in their right mind would turn down. And I don't blame the Heat for taking him, because that's the way the league works nowadays. The Heat can afford to wait till he develops.

It would be great if the High School kids could play in the NBDL at least part of the season.

Sitting on the bench for an entire season does NOT benefit a player.

Dorell's only playing time is during PRACTICE & that's NOT what a PROFESSIONAL NBA player should be doing.
