If we can defend Arenas like we did the previous game against Washingtona as well as limit thier offensive rebounds, we should have this game.

cheen0, you can use ESPN's game update. Link

But as of right now, its 80-76 Houston just took the lead from a comeback. Mike James and McGrady are doing their thing right now. Mike James got 24 points while McGrady has 20. Yao has been battling foul trouble- once again with 10 points so far.

thank you mr. baller, and it just sucks that lately yao has been getting into foul trouble and he was doing really well before the all star break, but i guess that good too cause he can get rested up for the up and coming games instead of getting all tired right now.

Its pretty debatable really, but I would rather have a player put up 20 points a night with 50% shooting for a center even if we lose a couple. At least then, Yao would be in his groove so once McGrady or James steps up, it would mean more wins for us. Cause if he constantly stays in foul trouble, it would take longer for him to get his shot back, meaning less points for him, less points for Houston. It depends on how you look at it.

We should have won that game. Yao has been in foul trouble every game and that could also be one of the key reasons we are loosing so much. Sura, please come back!!

Too bad we lost. Anyway nice game by the Rockets as consolation. They worked hard to erase a 17 points deficit in the 3rd quarter and led by as much as 8 points with only 5 mins. left in the ball game but they just didn't take care of the ball well after that. I was amazed on what Barry does for the Rockets. He's one of the player I've known who prefers shooting 3's on a fastbreak and he makes it most of the time. 3's are like lay-ups for him. Did you see also his difficult acrobatic reverse lay-up which gave the Rockets their 8 point lead? TMac should have set him up or Mike James to take the final shot. James also has been hot and he's done his best to keep the Rockets alive in the 3rd quarter. He matched up well with Arenas in terms of speed. 23 points per game as a Rocket was outstanding. He provided offense when Yao was ineffective and sat out most of the time due to foul trouble. It's just seems unfair when Arenas drives to the hoops and missed his shots he always get a foul called on the Rockets. He got away with too many of that antics including an offensive foul and a travelling violation. While James was hammered when going to the hoop and the referees didn't call a foul at all. It happened 2-3 times. Hughes was big for the Wizards and he works hard for his points.

As usual the Rockets were outrebounded again especially on the offensive glass. The Rockets should have taken care of the ball well especially when you're facing a team who has mastered thievery(steals) and the leader in offensive boards. Two more games and Sura will be back again to provide the some rebounding and hassle/toughness for the Rockets. Not an easy waiting for the Rockets though, because we still have to face the Mavs and Sonics and by the time he's back we're going on against the high powered Suns.

Hey why has Weatherspoon moved up in the rotation and Padgett has gone down. I'm all for a histle player like Spoon getting some minutes. I've argued that JVG should've done that for a while. but Padgett didn't even play this game. He could've mad the difference in the minutes of the game.

Padgett's shooting has dropped off as the games wore on. He is no longer very effective. Weatherspoon can also play in the post when Yao is in foul trouble, so Van Gundy is pretty smart there.

As for the game, bad loss. We set ourselves up in a position to win it, but froze up in the last few minutes of the game. James actually had a pretty good game, but Yao is frustrating me. He either finds it hard to stay on the court, and when he does, he didn't shoot well. We really need him to be more assertive and demand the ball. Btw, good thing we booted Moochie out of the rotation, he didn't even play one minute this game.

James has had three pretty good games. Its ridicolous how tonight we couldnt get any scorer help from other than James and McGrady. We have started losing because Yao is getting into foul trouble, our bench isnt producing, and Wesley is back into his shooting slump, until we get those things back on track were in for trouble.

Maybe its just that the presense of Sura on the court is needed.
