<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (tko51)</div><div class='quotemain'><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (FLORIDA PACKER)</div><div class='quotemain'>Losman has alot of talent and potential but he like most QBs do will struggle, Carson Palmer struggled the first half of the season and came on strong in the second half before going down with a knee injury, Losman's season may end up being something like Carson's. The Bills don't have as much offensive talent as the Bengals but their defense is great and having such a good defense will definatley help J.P out big time, however his O-line is gonna have to step up. the Bills have one of the poorest Offensive lines in the NFl and if Losman is gonna have any chance of a Marino or Roethlisberger season then the big men up front are gonna have to step it up.</div> We don't have as much offensive talent as the Bengals? I'd take the combo of Moulds and Evans (who will put up even better numbers this year - regardless of an inexperienced qb tossing him the ball or not) over Houshmendzadeh and Chad Johnson (who by the way only caught one pass for 10 yards when we played the Bungles - Nate Clements all but shut him down), and McGahee over Rudi Johnson any day of the week (and twice on sunday). Their OL may have been better last season, but ours seems to be different every year (plus it will help that we don't have Bledsoe anymore who almost always holds onto the ball too long and either gets sacked or stripped), and Mike Williams really did come on strong the last half of last season - We are also the one team that could still land Ross Verba which would really help out the left side of our line and give JP even more time to pass or find a lane to scramble.</div> are you kidding me. Chad Johnson over Eric Moulds. Right now. Moulds has lost a little of his game but is no Chad Johnson. Johnson is a top 10 wideout. Moulds is not. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>(who by the way only caught one pass for 10 yards when we played the Bungles - Nate Clements all but shut him down)</div> How does that prove the point that Eric Moulds is better than Chad Johnson. Maghee = Rudi. Maghee hasn't proved anything to me to seperate himself from Rudi. I do think he will though and I think it will be this season but at this time of the week it's a draw. Ross Verba is a joke. and Mike Williams is slowly becoming a top 5 pick bust. Bengals have Levi Jones who has paned out. Willie Anderson who is solid and they got Eric Steinbach who is developed into a nice guard.
You clearly don't watch too many Bills games - Mike Williams has turned it on this year (which is on par with how long it takes to develop a tackle) and my statement was that I'd take Moulds AND EVANS over Johnson and T.J. learn to read pal. Evans will be a top 10 wideout this year.
You the 2nd most biase person I no. Sorry but Lee Evan isn't going to be a top 10 wideout this season. I can name at least 10 better. He is in his 2nd year and showed potential but nothing spectacular like Roy Williams or Michael Clayton displayed. TJ showed more potential than Evans and now that Kelly Washington is back and healthy and Peter Warrick is there #4. That is far more deph than the Bills. Mike Williams is cough uhm soft as cheese. I don't know why you think he turned in on when all the NFL anaylis have watched him slowly slowly develop into an average tackle. Levi and Willie are solid tackles. The Bengals have a better QB,WR's,OL than the Bills and I'll give you Maghee because I think he is gonna be great.
Those are your opinions - but I bet you that after Losman proves to be a good qb, if you asked the average person on here who's offense's skill position players they'd take they'd say the Bills because of Mcgahee, moulds, evans (who led all rookies in TDs last year with 9) and parrish who according to Eric King is the hardest WR in the Bills OTAs to cover (but he still said Evans and Moulds are better overall recievers). BTW, I'm not Biased at all - I've seen Mike starting to hold his own in the passing game - as far as run blocking goes - he's excellent at that (see travis Henry's back to back 1300 yard seasons - didn't happen til we drafted big mike - he's a big boy that can clear a path with the greatest of ease - and to deny that just tells me that you don't watch the Bills - I don't watch the packers, but at least I don't try to pretend that I know what players on their team suck or are good. keep voicing your opinion it let's us know who knows something and who's just running their mouth in an attempt to look like they know what they're talking about. Oh yeah, and Big Mike seems to have Jason Taylor's number in pass protection every other year.
TJ showed more potential then Evans huh? Ok whatever you say pal. You know being the Bills fan that I am - I noticed something - whenever a play didn't go the way they drew it up on the chalkboard last year - Drew just locked on to Moulds EVERY single time instead of checking down to other recievers or getting outside the pocket to throw it away. Look for us to have the same kinda success we had when Price came on for us and relieved the extra coverage Moulds had to face. BTW I really wish Buffalo was in the NFC - we'd very possibly have homefield throughout the playoffs depending on if we had to play Philadelphia and maybe where we played them at.
ok you and you Bills can go 12-4 this year if thats what you think. see draft grades post and you notice that I am not the only one who thinks mike williams has been a bust so far.
hmm I wonder how many of these other guys pay attention to the Bills? you're just gonna keep posting your opinion even though I've thrown some FACTS that would indicate otherwise. whatever.
also, watch a bills game this year - you'll see whoever sacks our QB will come from the LEFT side more often then not.
I watch whatever is on TV. Bengals have a deeper recieving core,Better o-line and a better QB than the Bills. So Losman is going to have his work cut out for him. His big thing is he has a great defense backing him up but I don't think it's enough to go even 10-6 let alone 12-4 like you seem to be praying to the gods of football.
"but offensive tackle Mike Williams (1st, 2002) has played soft and been a disappointment for the fourth overall pick" When was this written?
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (tko51)</div><div class='quotemain'>also, watch a bills game this year - you'll see whoever sacks our QB will come from the LEFT side more often then not.</div> Do you mean the offensive left side or the defensive left side? Regardless, I can't wait to see Matt Roth, Kevin Carter, & Jason Taylor (of course) welcome J.P. to the brutal world that is the AFC East.
I mean the Offense's left side - the side that Mike Williams isn't on. Good luck with Jason Taylor getting his hands on Losman unless he lines up on the right side (defensively) - but JP likes to roll out to his right.
A lot of sportswriters don't know what the hell they're talking about - especially John Clayton - I can't stand that little nerd - he was saying that Travis Henry was only worth a 5th round selection and that that was pushing it. ESPN would gain a lot of credibility if they fired that geek.

Could this be the rebirth of Richmond Webb vs Bruce Smith? JT is expected to line up anywhere along the front 7 this yr. I can guarantee he'll get to JP at least once...in the first game. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (tko51)</div><div class='quotemain'>A lot of sportswriters don't know what the hell they're talking about - especially John Clayton - I can't stand that little nerd - he was saying that Travis Henry was only worth a 5th round selection and that that was pushing it. They need 20 more of him to bring any type of balance or common sense to the panel of clowns (Salisbury, Jaworski, Berman, Stuart Scottt, & Steve Young for example) that they have masquerading as NFL experts.
Clayton is the very same Bonehead that said we'd be lucky to get a 5th rounder for Henry - shows what he knows, doesn't it? Clayton must lick a lot of Dolphin @$$.

You know I worked with a bills fan that sounded alot like you in 2003...claiming 12-4 and all kinds of bologna after we lost the first game of the season to you guys... he even had a cheesy bills tatoo on his noodle arm that was all crooked..lol...I'd be willing to bet you were making similar claims yourself back then...just try to remember how that felt and show some ability to be objective....
I haven't said that we would DEFINITELY overtake you guys as division champs - I just feel that with this team being kept together the way it is and with all the emerging players on our roster that we will be very dangerous and that it is very ignorant of you guys to just write us off.

If Losman plays like Palmer did last then your team could go 9-7 this season and with all the young players it could very possible challenge NE for the divsion title next. Thats if Losman pans out.
