    Re: Warriors eye Tyson Chandler

My biggest problem with Jordan are his fouls on defense. I haven't looked up the stats, but the games I've watched him, he's been extremely foul-prone trying to go for blocks.

Re: Hornets engaged in serious CP3 talks

I'm glad the Warriors are trying their best and trying to hit a home run, but I am against the trade as rumored. Unless somehow the Warriors also trade Monta or Lee for Dwight Howard or some other...
  3. Re: Nene at the top of Warrior's wishlist, but how do they get him?

Well, I think with the cap, the "best case" scenario is that it would stay the same as it is now. The players don't seem fond of that flex cap, which might have raised the cap but also made it a...
  4. Re: Nene at the top of Warrior's wishlist, but how do they get him?

I like Nene, but not at that cost or even in that range. Not sure where the $90 million came from, but that's just crazy talk. I would rather ship out Ellis than absorb Nene with that potentially...
  5. Re: Warriors draft Klay Thompson

I feel that Leonard would have been a much better choice, both in need and in potential. But Thompson had so much buzz around the league from multiple teams that there must have been some amazing...
  6. Re: Did we just get Jeremy Tyler from Charlotte???!!!???!!!

Well, we only gave up some cash for his rights, so it's not like we have much to lose, right? Very low risk. I imagine the W's will hire a mentor for this kid to keep him on the right path and help...

    Re: Iguodala/Ellis being discussed

This is a trade that a group of us on this board were hoping for during the season. I'm still on board for it now, of course. It just seems like it'd be a much better team synergy with Iggy/Curry...

Re: Mark Jackson named Head Coach

I felt he was better than Mike Brown, at least. I think in the end, the roster is going to dictate our chances more, though. I'm in the "wait and see" boat as well, not hating it nor loving it.

Re: Consensus Mock Draft from nba.com

Thompson is definitely a great shooter would be great in the role we've already got Wright in. Although he's not even the best shooter in the draft as far as range and percentage combined, he uses...

Re: Consensus Mock Draft from nba.com

As far as the '05 draft, I think that Ike was actually a risk. He had put up good numbers in college but most scouts were surprised at the pick being so high. I remember back when Rerem basically...

    Re: Mully a HOFer

Yep, I was always a fan of the Warriors but the Run TMC era has some of my best memories of that time. I probably have a few pictures somewhere of me with my Mullin buzz-cut getting ready to cheer...

Re: Here's our big move....Al Thornton

Al Thornton isn't a great player, but he's still young. Basically it's like upgrading Rodney Carney, I guess. He takes more shots around the basket and isn't as good from the 3 point line, though....

Re: 2011 NBA Trade Deadline Thread

Yeah, I have to sense that we were just throwing this out there as a last-minute deal. Jamison is still serviceable and only has a 2 year contract, so he'd be off the books in 2012, when there would...

Re: 2011 NBA Trade Deadline Thread

Jeez, Deron is probably my favorite point guard right now. New Jersey is going to have a heck of a time (or throw a heck of a lot of money) at him to resign in the long term.

    It looks like the...

Re: Steph Curry skills competition champion

Yeah, I feel bad for Morrow. Durant didn't belong in there, and it was pretty clear from his performance. Morrow's better than Gibson too, but only by a little.

And at least Dorrell did get into...

Re: Steph Curry skills competition champion

Yeah, it was like 150 a season, but he was right about 25%.

Curry was really confident in that second round, it was fun to watch. Hope Dorrell at least advances to the next round though.

Re: GS just leapfrogged Houston in the standings

The Warriors could probably make a deal with NJ, but NJ doesn't have much incentive, they probably will save more by buying Murphy out than by trading him for slightly less costly contracts.

Re: GS just leapfrogged Houston in the standings

The short answer is it's a tough call, it's too early. Monroe is playing a major cog in for the Pistons while Udoh is barely getting into the rotation finally.

The long answer, is that if you...

Re: GS just leapfrogged Houston in the standings

Murph would have been a rental anyway, although it actually would have cleared more cap room for us while Denver would save some money on luxury tax by accepting the smaller contracts. But yeah, I'm...

Re: Trade Deadline and All-Star Break Report

I like the idea of reincarnating Bill Russell that was mentioned. Quick, someone get his DNA and clone him.

Looking around the league, excepting Dwight Howard, there aren't any great centers...
