  1. Re: Thompson frustrated over lack of offer from Warriors

Evidently, many have been saying Thompson is the best SG in the NBA. Apparently, it's gone to his head.

  2. Re: Meyers Leonard finishes preseason strong

Just because he missed them doesn't man they were bad shits. He wasn't forcing his shits. He was open and all his shits came within the flow of the offense.

  3. Re: NBA GMs vote Aldridge as the game's best PF (in a tie with Blake Griffin)

Sure you were. Ever the voice of reason. Until you pointed out what a poor defender Love is, the rest of us morons couldn't figure out why he kept getting overlooked in the DPOY voting and how in...
  4. Re: let's hear the S2 post game analysis: vs clippers

OK, I watched all 4 quarters, so multiply my comments x 1.33.

Chris Kaman was a PERFECT pick up, much better than Hawes would have been. The reasons:

Kaman fits with ALL our other bigs. ...
  5. Re: let's hear the S2 post game analysis: vs clippers

    Both teams played hard.

    Re: Gerald Green to Portland?

Well, Green is 6'8" and super athletic. He's listed as a SF/SG. So, maybe the plan is to bring him in as our back up SF. It would give us another scorer off the bench. Green shot .400 3FG% last...
  7. Re: FiveThirtyEight previews the NBA season

It's an interesting article, but their rankings are based on two ESPN advanced stats: RPM (Real Plus-Minus) and WAR (Wins Above Replacement). And, they aren't using last years values for these...
  8. Re: FiveThirtyEight previews the NBA season

OK, I don't care what these guys think, but I LOVE their symbol for "Poor Player" - a steaming pile of shit. Can someone please make that into an emoticon we can use in this forum?

  9. Re: ESPN is doing their player rankings, and showing just how bad ESPN is.

Because they have a bottom 10 coach.

  10. Re: Decision Time On Options for CJ, Meyers and T-Rob

He did. Here's a link to that interview.

He talks about improving his defense...
  11. Re: Decision Time On Options for CJ, Meyers and T-Rob

Why do you assume they are mutually exclusive. How does his ability to hit 3-pointers on the offensive end negatively impact his rebounding and defense on the other end?

    Well then you may...
  12. Re: NBA GMs vote Aldridge as the game's best PF (in a tie with Blake Griffin)

Yet another strawman. Who exactly said that, provide a link or a quote, otherwise you're just making shit up in a futile effort to discredit those who disagree with you (big surprise there).

    No,...
  13. Re: NBA GMs vote Aldridge as the game's best PF (in a tie with Blake Griffin)

You need to work on your reading comprehension. This vote was for who is the best power forward in the NBA, not who would you build a franchise around. Davis is 8 years younger and bursting with...
  14. Re: NBA GMs vote Aldridge as the game's best PF (in a tie with Blake Griffin)

Well then, if that's the way you feel, perhaps you'd be happier posting elsewhere.

Funny though, how those bullshit/homer opinions line up with the opinions of NBA GM's and yours don't...

It's called a strawman. A technique favored by the banned poster formerly known as PapaG.

  16. Re: NBA GMs vote Aldridge as the game's best PF (in a tie with Blake Griffin)

    Flawed premise == erroneous conclusion.

This is not about what fans think. They are USUALLY (but obviously, not always) going to favor the players on their team. Read the title of the thread. ...

    Re: Bleacher Report Re-Draft

It's all hypothetical at this point since:

    Davis hasn't made the playoffs.

Davis has never had back-to-back 35 point games. In fact, he only has two 35 point games in his entire NBA career.

    Re: Bleacher Report Re-Draft

Or prove he can even make the playoffs. Since this "draft" is for one season, and one season only, I'd go with the player who has a more mature offensive game and has proven he can carry his team in...
  19. Re: NBA GMs vote Aldridge as the game's best PF (in a tie with Blake Griffin)

Actually, Aldridge played 13 more games than Davis. Aldridge led his team to the second round while Davis was home hoping his team did well in the lottery.

  20. Re: NBA GMs vote Aldridge as the game's best PF (in a tie with Blake Griffin)

    Best, no. Most potential, yes.

Sorry, but to be the best player at your position in the entire league you need to win, and Davis hasn't. Yes, basketball is a team sport, but the BEST players...
