No link, but from the practices per rivals, Perry said he's down to four schools: Michigan, Michigan State, USC and Miami.

Perry will visit USC on Jan. 18, Michigan on Jan. 25 and Miami on Feb. 1.

If this is the same kid im thinking of, the guy was a man among kids at the State Championship game. But he was playing against dorks from my hometown. I hope Coach D can get him in the Green and White.

Top prospect likes look of USC visit | The Detroit News

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>The state's top football prospect returned from his visit to Southern California on Sunday, and if today were signing day, Nick Perry of Detroit King would be USC-bound.

Perry, a 6-foot-4, 235-pound linebacker/defensive end, has made two official visits, one to Michigan State in mid-December and now USC. Signing day (Feb. 6) is still two weeks away and Perry has two official visits to go.

"California was good," Perry said. "So far it's (USC) been the best place I've been to. They are ahead of Michigan State.

"I just liked the environment, the surroundings. I was around good people there, the players, the coaches. Yes, I feel I could fit it. The need for defensive ends is great there. They want me to come in and compete (for the position) right away."</div>

Yep, agree with you here too. I'd be kinda shocked if he didn't commit there.
