    PG - Marcus Williams
    SG - Devin Harris
    SF - Richard Jefferson
    PF - Josh Boone
    C - Dasagana Diop

    2nd unit

    PG - Darrell Armstrong
    SG - Vince Carter
    SF - Bostjan Nachbar
    PF - Sean Williams
    C - Nenad Kristic

Utility: Swift, Hassell, Ager, Magloire, Van Horn

Devin Harris would be great in the Kerry Kittles roll, actually improving it by being more of a Rip Hamilton with his good mid range jumper. Vince Carter, at this stage of his career, would be able to dominate once again by matching up against the other teams' 2nd units. Plus, he runs the pick and roll well with Sean Williams. Kristic I put in the 2nd unit because he is still coming back, and this way each unit will have a shot blocker.

^Not to mention I don't see Harris doing that well at SG. I also have a feeling SGs like Kobe, Redd will have a field day with him. I understand that he's a great defender, but I'd rather keep him at point.

Benching a player after signing him to a 60M extension the just past offseason is not a good idea.

Without Kidd, the idea of someone filling the "Kerry Kittles role" (or the "KMart role") no longer exists.

At this point, every role is brand spanking new.

i think that in the state you're in, mourning the trade of Kidd, has lead you think out of the box pf practicality. Unless he's traded before Thursday, Vince is now the new main man in Netsland. Besides Marcus Williams, before the Kidd trade, was just barely hanging on to his roster spot. Since Devin actually plays defense, I expect MWill to be the 3rd pg again before long.

I thought the purpose was to get younger now and build towards the future? Wouldn't that mean playing Carter a lot and giving him plenty of shots to make him look more attractive to other teams?

Or thinking that Devin Harris can be a Kerry Kittles shooter in this new system.

Devin Harris is a point guard.

His value goes down significantly at any other position.

Harris is nothing like Kerry Kittles.

we ARE undefeated this season with Vince coming off the bench.

And I think Harris to SG would be a solid move. Although it really depends who's next to him. VC or Mike would be good partners, or if you put him at the 2 and got a good shooting 1 (Gibson) it'd fit well.
