UFC Hall of Famer Mark Coleman is going to be Brock Lesnar's tackling dummy this summer.

"The Hammer" (15-8) last fought in the UFC in 1999, losing a decision to Pedro "The Rock" Rizzo. Since then he's had fourteen fights but he hasn't competed since 2006.

Lesnar (1-1) is coming off a loss to Frank Mir.

The fight is tentatively scheduled for the August event in Minneapolis-St. Paul Minnesota--Lesnar's home town.

    Dana white/Mark Coleman negotiation transcript:

DW: Please, please. please come back and fight Brock Lesnar

MC: I'm 43 years old, haven't fought in almost 2 years...he will end my life

DW: I need someone that Joe Rogan can justify as a legit opponent, but that ultimately Lesnar will beat the piss out of

MC: He will cave my skull in

DW: I will pay you more for this fight than you've made in any one year of your career

MC: I'm too young to die

DW: I will induct you in the UFC hall of fame and conduct the ceremony in front of a sold out crowd

    MC: Can my daughters come?

    DW: um....yes?

    MC: Deal

    DW: RIP

^ And the ceremony was in Columbus, his home town IIRC.

    Coleman is either;
    A: In need of money
B: Delusion and thinks he can still compete
C: Tough as nails and willing to fight anyone.

I'd cross B off, cause when he fought Fedor, he didn't really act like he was gonna win the fight but that is would be an honor to face him.
    the other two... entirely possible.
