<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>ESPN 100 center/forward prospect Greg Smith, rated No. 30 overall, has chosen Fresno State's 2009 recruiting class after decommitting from Arizona. He also had interest from Memphis, Oregon, Florida and Kansas. Smith spoke with ESPN affiliate The Wildcat Sports Report on Tuesday and he confirmed his decision. "Yes, it's true. I have decommitted from Arizona and committed to Fresno State," Smith said. "I just want to stay close to home so my family and friends can watch me play. That's the reason. I want to stay home." Smith, however, didn't rule out changing his mind again, and re-committing to the Wildcats. "Arizona was great to me," he told the WSR. They're one of the best school and colleges that I would really like to play for. There's a chance that I end up looking at some things and deciding that Arizona is the right school for me." Smith is the first prospect to pick Fresno State from the 2009 class.</div>
