Wonder if this will just turn out to be nothing, or if it'll come out that he got hurt some strange way

So how many Bay Area people thought of Jeff Kent after hearing that the Warriors want to investigate?

Sorry just a question but what did Radmanovic do? And Jeff Kent? They hurt themselves too?
I'm thinking Monta could have injured it in a pick up game

Radmanovic hurt himself skiing and reported that he slipped on a block of ice. The players are not allowed to participate in any leisure activities that may jeopardize their health and readiness for their NBA performance.

Nope because it has a high risk of injury.

Jay Williams went for a motorcycle ride.

The Bulls bought him out of his contract for a nice price.

Radmonovic hurt his leg (I wanna say he broke it but not positive) while skiing or snowboarding. Kent injured himself on his motorcycle.

I'm sure if he was still capable of playing at a high level they wouldn't have let him go.

Tough situation for both Ellis and the team.

In the end though, Ellis got injured, and he had successful surgery. I hope that's it.

Has anyone heard anymore about this?

Hopefully we won't have to hear words like shattered or broken

The Warriors denied it and there are conflicting reports amongst the Bay Area beat writers as to whether the W's did or did not send Tom Abdenour to Jackson.

Cuts and abrasions seem more like some sort of motorcycle injury. High ankle injuries are not uncommon in motorcycle related accidents. When I was racing AFM (www.afmracing.org) last year, one guy stalled his bike at the start of a race, got rear ended, flew straight up, and landed on his foot, which snapped right above the ankle...90 degrees...not pretty.

Monta is looking very bad at this point. He needs to come clean ASAP. I predict that the Warriors fine him about 25% of his first year for lying and doing an activity he agreed to avoid under his contract.

Radmanovic lost 10% for his shoulder injury skiing.

See, I have a problem with this. It does nothing good for the Warriors organization to have any sort of negative press on Monta, whether he decides to come clean or not. The most important thing is getting Monta back to where he needs and make sure he doesn't do whatever he did again...

Internally, sure, they can figure out a way to deduct his pay but it doesn't need to be front page news.

Is he team captain? They can take that away from him.

Kawakami or Purdy wrote that there is a message to be sent, that Monta will not be given free reign like Baron. I'm for it.

I hope franchises start demanding more of their players rather than kowtowing to them. Screw them, they get paid huge $$$, they are not entitled to the $$, they need to earn it and understand that they have obligations to not only themselves and their teammates, but the franchises and their fans, act professional, that means meeting the obligations in the contract.

I don't disagree but nothing has been proven yet. Until then, I think it's fair to give Monta the benefit of the doubt.

I bet the truth will come out that Monta was doing something he wasn't supposed to be doing. He's been playing it careful after being on a 2nd rounder, unguaranteed contract, but maybe he's acting differently because he got paid.

I think Monta changed his attitude on payday, no longer being careful anymore.

    Former what?

I also feel that Monta's mindset might have changed a bit because he got paid. And I also agree that he probably was doing something he wasn't supposed to be doing, but at this point, it doesn't matter so long as he doesn't do it again and makes a full recovery.

If he doesn't make a full recovery, well then, that's what I call Warriors Luck.
