    I don't quite understand exactly what happened regarding his contract. Did we buy him out or just waive him? It seems like we bought him out because it says we don't have to pay him any of his salary but it also says we'd lose his rights. But I guess hes indicated that he would be most loyal to the Warriors if he were to come back to the NBA?

    Dunno and don't really care. Its nice that he'll be starting in a league with a high level of competition though. Wonder if we'll do anything with the extra money and roster space.

    Technically, even why a team buys out a player, they still have to waive him.
