Haha. I think Eddy's fatness would be better against Dwight. I've seen Garnett guard Dwight (on a few plays, mostly Kendrick's guarding him), and it's pretty horrid. Dwight owned Garnett, to say the least. Actually, second thought, if Dwight needed to be slowed down, it'd be a better idea to have Etan on him. He's a great defensive player. He's strong. He's wide. He'd slow Dwight down better than anyone else on the team.
etan is unrealiable. who knows how he'll play coming off that career threatening heart problem. Who knows if he'll make it through the year
The Barney are going to play pressure defense to keep the ball out of JJ's hands because the other 3 starters aren't very adept at feeding the post. Plus, we have 18 fouls from a variety of centers that will each pose different challenges for DHo. Curry will just be in his way, Etan will push him off his spots and the Birdman will likely half-front him to keep the ball out of his hands. KG will never be too far away to snatch lob passes out of the air. On offense, we are going to force DHo to try to stop Eddy. IRL, Curry has generally been able to score on DHo. Gooden can't handle KG without help so Stuckey will run a lot of pick and roll with him because of Nelson's size deficiency. Artest and SJax will get to run some two man games where they will force JJ to work hard on defense. Off the bench, we bring in more proven performers and experience at every position.
I'll have Dwight temporary sign with your opponent each game and have him play against your team in your series, too. And then he'll dunk on your team all day and average 99 ppg. Only because Shawn Williams fouls him, and he only gets blocked once...but gets a shitload of and-1's.
If Swift plays the whole season and Bonner gets more minutes than Gooden, I like his team better than yours. Either way, he matches up pretty well. Much better than whatever team "wins" the West poll.
