Reading the full article, it makes me worried about Brandan Wright's future. Just at the point where he needs a lot more playing time to improve, he may actually get less, with veteran Harrington still stuck in front of him and now Randolph perhaps jumping ahead because he's Nellie's new toy that fits his system better. Not to mention Hendrix. I really like what Wright showed in the few minutes he got last year, but I'm really getting the feeling he's going to get crowded out. It would not surprise me to see him packaged in a trade, especially if Mullin gets pushed out and Nelson gains even greater power over player decisions. At best Wright will probably be misused by Nelson because he's more of a traditional PF.
I'm hoping B Wright gets a chance. He could be like a Chris Bosh PF/C. But I'm starting to believe he's not as strong as Bosh despite being the same size. Definitely not as skilled. Bosh has Duncan-like outside moves and he's quick like Marcus Camby.
I think Randolph has the best chance of any current Warrior other than Monta to be an all-star. Mags may get there because of numbers, but Randolph is the only other guy besides Monta with the most star quality. Mark my words?
I'm not worried about Wright. I've seen what hes done in actual games and hes a gamer. Hes a presence on the court and I think he has improved his skills. The main concern is that he gets into Nellie's doghouse before he gets a chance to prove himself in games. I think he'll be fine though.
