They turn into Super Bowl contenders when it really matters and they can't afford to lose this game. I pick St. Louis to upset another team. If Ronnie Brown could run all over New England, I don't want to imagine what Stephen Jackson is going to do. With Romo out until at least Mid November, I don't see the Cowboys beating that Buccaneer defense with Brad Johnson. The Colts need to get their season on track, quickly. I take them to upset the Titans.
Its gut check time for Dallas. We need this. Not sure how we are going to do it. Tampa runs a WCO, which isn't conducive to getting pressure. Extra pressure on an injured secondary. Plus we play a lot of off coverage. I'm not sure how we can win. We just need to. Got to take away the run. Ratliff and Ware have been beasts this season. But others need to step up. Canty hasn't done anything this year. Time for him to step up. Spears needs to be an anchor on the run defense. Ellis needs to... fuck him. Some of the underperforming players need to step up. Jenkins and Scandrick have to be ready. We are relying on them. And the OL has to find some cohesiveness. Barber and Choice are going to have to carry the load. There's some hope in that.

World Series. They do it every year as far as I can remember. I guess, they don't want to go head-to-head with it.
Ah, makes sense. I had a feeling it was some painfully obvious reason that I just wasn't picking up on.
I can't wait for Steelers/Giants. It's gonna be a helluva matchup and our first real significant challenge of the year. Ideally we'd still be undefeated right now, but we've still built up enough momentum during the 5-1 start to stick it to the Steelers.
Finally we get a shot at the Titans, and on Monday night of all places. I'm definitely calling that an upset, the Titans haven't really been tested since week 1.
The Colts--like the Bolts, Saints, and Cowboys--are in put up or shut up time. I think we'll see 3/4 of those teams start to put it up...the one that won't is the Saints.
Mamba, how did your team get screwed into going to London again? LOL at the Broncos btw, I'm sure you were quite happy about that.
I question if we can step it up without Romo. What I need to see is good effort. I can understand losing the game. In fact, I expect it. But what I do expect is better effort.
Yep. Last weekend I was out of town, and driving back to Milwaukee. And I went straight to the bar to watch the games (didn't stop by my apartment to get my laptop).
Just go out on a limb one more time... I'm putting the most confidence points on that game, just to mess with everyone.
I hope you can stick around this week, and my condolences about having to watch that atrocity on Sunday too.
