If Hendrix is reliable down low and the coach isn't running plays through him, I've officially had it with Nelson. This will even be more complicated if Patrick O' Bryant serves as a reliable center for Boston.

I don't think Hendrix is a one on one scorer in the NBA. He was the go-to guy at Alabama but mostly just scored through his raw power/size. He does have nice touch and some ok moves but I just don't see him being more than a garbage points type of guy in the NBA offensively. I mean if guys like Powe, Craig Smith, Big Baby, Ike Diogu, etc. who were excellent scorers in college with significantly more technical skill and scoring prowess than Hendrix are only garbage point type of guys in the NBA then I don't see much hope for Hendrix being an offensive option down low.

Hes more of a Millsap than anything.

Well of course, but I'd imagine if there is a matchup where Hendrix can be used to exploit a weaker opponent, Nelson should use it. Take for instance the SF/PF matchups that coaches like to throw out there. Hendrix could probably destroy those types, but he would need space and ability to protect the ball. But I think what you're saying is that Hendrix would be an opportunistic scorer rather than a guy who can create like Sean May or Ike Diogu or Powe.

Which is something the Warriors desperately need because the Warriors have gotten destroyed by guys like Milsap for a long time, they just haven't had an answer for that kind of matchup. I'm not going to be happy at all if Nelson cuts him.
