Today's game will be a true test for the Chicago Bulls. The Bulls weren't able to put even a small dent in the Boston Celtics last season and got swept 4 games. If the Bulls can pull off a win in tonight's game against a hyped, energy driven, and hungry Boston Celtics it will be a huge statement for the Bulls franchise. It may perhaps start to change the minds of those who think that we will drop the playoffs again this year. Will we pull off a win or even get close to it?

Find out tonight broadcast from the Boston Celtic's Garden at:

    8:00 pm est
    7:00 pm cst
    6:00 pm mountain
    5:00 pm pacific

    on ESPN.

Celts are off to a quick start, 7-2. Thabo with an ill advised... something. A pass I guess.

Garnett is doing well on Tyrus.

ESPN guys rightly point out that no one on the Bulls starting 5 can make a shot.

Rose and Thabo out, and Kirk and Ben come in. Why will the Thabo madness end.

He's dreadful. On the other hand, Gordon just basically ran an iso for himself from halfcourt and launched an airball. jeez.

Where's the off the ball movement from the other night go. Kirk and Ben just stood in the corners and never moved. Yuck all around.

Our shooting percentage is beyond pathetic....we could be much closer if the Bulls would take smarter shots and not blindly lob passes.

Now there's some Ben @ the 1 skills. Twice down the floor he found Noc for a catch and shoot

Right now, Gordon's dribbling is a bit off, so he will probably have more difficulty creating for himself, until he gets his dribbling back under control. (AKA, he should be playing off of Rose....). Gordon also looks really good defensively so far....no that it makes any difference on the game.

Hopefully we run Rose-Gordon-Nocioni to start the 2nd quarter. Celtics will probably still have their bench unit out there, and we can try to cut away their lead with their bench unit on the floor.

We need to make a trade for a big man. Maybe put an offer in for that Eddy Curry guy who the Knicks are paying a lot to not play.

Bulls can't make shots, then they need to be trying to slash and make shots whilst drawing fouls. The Bulls are playing WAY too nervously.

    F Aaron Gray.

If I'm going to take any solace from this game, it's that the spectacle of Brian Scalabrine and Noc going at it should affect race relations for the better. Any racists watching the game would have to be convinced that segregated basketball would suck.

When did Aaron Gray become this defensive stalwart? 3 blocks and 6 rebounds so far. If he is going to play this good, you gotta start the guy.
