Where do i see who's repped me?? And how often does the User CP update itself? I mean its always showing "no subscribed thread". Help SOS
You see it on the user cp... Although I'm kind of confused about how rep works as well. I thought that your rep level raised everytime someone repped you? I just don't get the point of a rep system if it's only available to you privately on your cp.
Do we start with Rep power 1 or 0? Sorry i did not check it when i registered...i totally forgot. It was just 2 minutes ago, i realized i had 1 rep power. But still my CP is empty..... Mystifying
Rep works as it's designed. In your UserCP, you can edit settings so you automatically subscribe to threads you post in. Those will show up in your UserCP from then on. If you visit a forum and subscribe to it (on the forum tools menu there), those will show up in your UserCP.
When you click on UserCP, you should see right in the middle of the page who repped you and for what post. The rep power you see under peoples' avatars are determined by how long they've been posting (I think +1 rep power for every year on S2). Rep is a way to privately get feedback on your posts.
Well my number went from 11 to 2. I think it just generates a random number once a month, and slaps it on your sidebar. Heh.
It went from 11 to 2 because you're not a GM anymore. It's not 1 because you've earned enough rep to gain power.
No bonuses for being a mod? Laaaaaaaame. Or is that were that 1 is from? You get 1 for 10k posts. Another for being around for a year. No idea about ranks, though.
That's a rough fact of life that you're just going to have to get used to too buddy. EDIT: How awesome is it that I got to use two forms of "to" consecutively...go me.
A mod's opinion is better than than any others. That's why I know I've said something intelligent when I get repped in the Nets forum by Claud, and I know I'm a dumbass if Netted likes my point.
