I have a chance to go to a Laker game December 19 over here in Miami. Not sure if I should bother though, I like hanging out at other people's places, or just chilling in my home to watch games.
This is so weird... I despise the Lakers, truly hate them as I have followed the NBA since the 80's and the great Larry vs Magic rivalry. And yet... I find I end up liking a lot of the Lakers members here at S2 and on another site.... so weird. It's a shame you guys have such horrible taste in picking your favorite basketball team
Psh, you know you have a secret love of the Lakers, you just can't admit since you're #1 team the Celtics. Plus, it's hard not to love us. At the very least though, you'd have to get along with most of us...since, ya know, most of the Laker fans here are staff members.
Huevon, I'll give you my opinion. I personally prefer the comfort of home over the arena, but I've never watched a Laker game in Staples, so its a chance that doesn't come around too often. I guess I didn't help.
HA!!! I've chosen to be 'reasonable' about Kobe, but I still think he's a jerk and vastly overated in the history of the game by many because he's playing right now. Give it 10-12 years and ppl will be on some other players jock and talking about how Kobe is over rated. Winning the title last year was oh so sweet, beating the Lakers made it soooooooo much more enjoyable!!!
Love is ... such a strong word... how about tolerate.. kinda like you tolerate taking buckley's when you have a cold
