Granger is a stud. I'd take him over smith any day.

Bad comparison because they are so different.

If I'm starting a team from scratch, I take Granger to be my go-to option and franchise player. If I already have a decent team with 1 or 2 scorers, I take Smith because of all the other things he does. Granger is fairly one dimensional- or maybe he just has to be because he plays in Indiana?

I'll take Josh Smith. He may not be the scorer that Granger is, but he's a stud defensively and still has a pretty versatile offensive game that gets better every year.

I'm not comparing the two, I'm asking who you would rather have, or who is the better player of the two in your mind. I know they are different players, I just wanted to see others opinions

Personally I would take Josh Smith, he is a jack of all trades and I expect him to get better. Granger scores a lot of points, but I'm partial to Josh Smith's type of game

I take Smoove for his all around game, but I wish he was more active on defense like he use to be. Danny Granger is another Kevin Martin. Good scorer on a bad/average team. If you out him on the Hawks is he that much of a better scorer than Smoove is?

I would take Josh Smith. Not only is he one of my favourite players, he has the complete package if you're asking me. He may not be the scorer that Granger is, but he has everything else in his game. His defense is some of the best in the league, which is the key thing to winning a championship. He is one of the best high fliers in the league, and once he is around the basket it isn't easy to stop him. If I was to start my own team and I had a choice between these 2 players, I would take Josh Smith 7 times out of 10.

Are you saying that if smith was on the pacers he would be getting 26 a game? IMO Granger has more potential than Smith does because he already has the scoring down, and is improving the rest of his game. he almost gets a block and a steal, if he got 7 or 8 rebounds a game, he would probably be the best SF in the NBA...besides lebron.

I would say that JSmooth would get that many PPG, but the thing is, on Atlanta with JJ, he doesn't have to score in bunches...he's playing within the team element...I think if he was called upon to be a scoring option and plays were actually run for him and not just him getting putbacks...he could easily score 21-23ppg at least. And of course he does everything else so well...and his length and ability to defend damn near everywhere on the floor besides Point...I'd have to go with Smith

granger definenly. his offense is a lot more versatlie and efficient than smiths. specially his jumper. he can drain 3pters. and his defense isnt that far from josh's. hes foul prone but he plays through them and still drops 30/5/3 with blks, stls, 3pts, hes a suerstar in the making.

Granger's offense is on another level.
