I can't believe not one comment on Poole getting the Key to the city of Green Bay. Has this ever been done in the history of the NFL? Are you guys afraid VikingFan will take your Power away or what?
Zackman, I was going to comment, but I had nothing to say. What can I say? The vikings played terribly. I am not so sure Poole deserves the key to the city, but its good for him and fun for Green Bay fans, so I have nothing against it. BTW...I saw Blazing Saddles again the other day...Mongo made me laugh just a bit more this time.

This borders on tampering....If they go through with this, and Poole gets the key to the city and a free trip to the playoff game, I wouldnt be surprised if the league investigates it with the intention of punishing the Packers...
But are the Packers giving him anything? If everything comes from the community and not the team, then I don't know if the NFL can do anything about it.
I'm sure the Chamber will find plenty of busineses that will be more than willing to wine and dine Mr. Poole. That catch brought MILLIONS of revenue into Green Bay.
I was thinking this morning about ways the League could link this whole thing to the Packers, but I couldnt think of any....I was kind of depressed because I know this aint right so I went back to sleep....it was while I was lying down that it hit me, and damn its simple and maybe incriminating....The Packers are a publicly owned corporation....the majority of the citizens up there, own atleast part of the team....if any of the "team owners" was or is involved in giving Mr. Poole anything beneficial, then its not only tampering but a major salary cap violation, punishable by the loss of draft picks and through monetary fines....more to come about this later, from the League office im betting....
