Another loss for the Summer League Raptors. I was pretty impressed when I saw the box score because Andrea finally got his first double double. That's right, 11 rebounds and 21 points. However, there are some shadows to his effort. He only went 6-16, and he finished with 7 TO's and 7 PF's I was really impressed with Kris Humphries. He got another double double. He scored 19 points and 12 rebounds on 6-10 shooting. That's best game of the summer league for him, easily. Also, this is the first "good" game by PJ Tucker. I was a little worried. I dont think he scored 5 points yet before this performance. He had 14 on 4-6 shooting and 5 rebounds.This all seems really good and such, but the reason we lost was Joey Graham. Joey finished with an astonishing a point!! How could you score 1 point in a summer league game when you're an NBA player? He went 0-2 and only got 1 rebound, and 1 assist as well. Horrible game for him. No one else on the team really does anything, so it is hard for us to win games..Anyway, another loss. Only this time, it was only by 2 points. But still, to the Warriors? Come on guys..Comments?
I talked to somebody that went to VSL, and he said that Bargnani was VERY raw. He said he was too timid and was only taking jumpers, and that he didn't think he would contribute any time soon.MosDef, normally in the last SL game, the better players don't play as much/at all. Telfair and Gomes didn't play against Detroit (we still won tho. :shifty2: ).and btw cb4, your raptors blog links to a photo of John Salmons.
