Town hall meetings a public forum?

    This has been pretty typical of Obama, even during the campaign. He's asked a question, and his reply is so long and drawn out that by the end of it all you forget what the question was. These is no short answer. Honestly it's annoying because you can't just get a simple answer to a question. Clearly politicians in general don't like giving a short and to the point answer, but this is excessive.

    I just find it troubling he believes he has to hide what he wants. If he believes so much in his vision, and believes the American people will follow him, why doesn't he just speak plainly? There's a lot to criticize President Bush for, but you knew exactly where he stood and exactly what he wanted to accomplish.
