    Well, what a game.

Denilson, Vermaelen, Gallas, Fabregas (2), and Eduardo scored.

No injuries. Top of the league. Goal for Vermaelen and Eduardo. Confidence for the team. What more could you ask for?

    Highlights to follow.

Looks like an awful day for Tim Howard in the Everton net.

Yeah, it was more down to terrible defending though.

I'm looking forward to MOTD, when Arsenal win big it's usually a joy to watch, even for a United fan

Yeah, it was a great game. Does anyone know a site that posts full videos from MotD?

If you're in the UK then I think the BBC website has it on iPlayer, not 100% though. You could try using a UK-based proxy and then going on the BBC website at half 10 ish to watch it live.

You can only blame Howard for one or two of those. Most of it was just lax defending.

Vermaelen with a tremendous EPL debut!

Vermaelen was solid in every aspect. Powerful and demanding in the air, attacked the ball, read the play well, closed down players, and even got his name on the scoresheet. Probably a perfect debut.

Arshavin was pretty non-existent the whole game but showed signs of magic. I'm sure he'll pick up the pace.

Fabregas was his usual self. If you give him space, you will regret it. On his second goal, he was basically allowed to stroll into Everton's box.

Almunia barely had to lift a finger but when he did he seemed a bit shaky, in my opinion. He was good at catching on to crosses or set-pieces, though.

Gallas was another great player on the day. Didn't make one mistake and was a presence the whole night.

Clichy was pretty silent on the day but made little mistakes. Good at going forward and had some dangerous crosses. I would like to see a bit more of him tough.

Sagna went forward a lot more than Clichy but his last product was still lacking. He made a couple of mistakes but luckily his pace made up for it.

Song was fantastic. He was consistently throwing in strong tackles and actually dictated the pace of the game, even though Everton were absurd. Then, he showed a little bit of footwork! I have high hopes for the guy and he has definitely improved in the past year.

Bendtner was possibly one of the best players on the pitch for us, I can't believe I'm actually saying this. Wenger went for a tall winger, which is extremely weird, but Bendtner justified the boss' tactic and played out of his skin. He had Baines in his pocket and showed some great footwork, passes, and crossing. If it weren't for Fabregas, he would be Man of the Match.

van Persie was surprisingly quiet. He had one chance and an easy freekick. No worries though, van Persie will always come through.

Denilson was another huge shock. Now that Song does the dirty work, the magician in Denilson really comes through. His goal was spectacular and really gives the chap some confidence. He showed some pin-point passes and really shone.

Bendtner has improved to a remarkable degree from one year ago.
