The bad news is that the league is dead in its format thanks to Eurosports no longer doing stats. (yeah I couldn't believe it either).

The good news is that if you wish to we can still play a different version, invite everyone who became interested AFTER the draft, have a full list to draft from and 125 million euros budget and all you have to do is sign up here.

I'm really sorry about the Yahoo effort but by the looks of it, this could be a blessing in disguise. I know it was a bit of a waste of time with the draft and I can only apologise for that, I have also been having comp troubles as Ronan can attest to and I was waiting before I found out what the score was with Eurosport before I pulled the plug and also frantically looking for an alternative.

We don't have to score the points because it does it for us so really it will have saved us a hell of a lot of time.

We can scrap the "home grown" players if you like, or keep it, up to you.

The draft would work the same as before only you have to keep an eye on the budget set within the game and you still can't draft the same player.

This seems much better to me to be honest and a lot more straight forward.

As I say could be a blessing in disguise.

Can we keep the same players we got? (I'd hate to do another draft lol)

Can't we just continue the draft and ask our participants to tally their stats once per week?

Based on what? I don't know about you but I made my team based on all stats and now we can't get them, I assume a fair few of us did the same.

To be honest we could just keep the players we have and put them into this league.

There were very few players picked from the french league anyway.

We would just have to stop drafting now, keep what we have and pick 11 plus a manager for the league.

I think anyone that loses a french player from the french league should get to replace their player with anyone still available and have first pick of manager as way of compensation.

How many players do each team have?

You must narrow your team to 11 plus a manager from what you have already drafted.

There is only from what I can see Gourcuff (the biggest loss possible) for me and Ben Arfa, a big loss for Marseille.

We would be ready to go if we do it this way and not have to redraft.

We can't get stats? Sure we can. We just can't get obscure ones like tackles (which I have never seen recorded).

Pretty much every fantasy league uses the same formula. You can get stats off wikipedia, yahoo, league sites, wherever. We can start scoring retroactively so leagues that have begun already accumulate points.

Since we're not worrying about money we don't have to keep it under 100m or whatever.

We can preserve the 4 national players play every week rule.

Roster must include: 2 goalkeepers, 5 defenders, 5 midfielders, and 3 forwards, for a total of 15 players. Any team not meeting this requirement can drop a player and add another one after the draft is complete.

    Formations allowed:

    3-4-3
    3-5-2
    4-4-2
    4-5-1
    4-3-3

    Points:

For playing in a game 1
For playing at least 60 minutes in a game (includes playing points mentioned above) 2
For each goal scored by your goalkeeper or defenders 6
For each goal scored by your midfielders 5
For each goal scored by your forwards 4
    For each goal assist 3
For your goalkeeper / defender conceding 0 goals (must also play at least 60 minutes) 4
For your midfielder conceding 0 goals (must also play at least 60 minutes) 1
For every 3 shot saves made by your goalkeeper 1
For every penalty save 5 For every penalty miss -2
Bonus points for the best players in a match 1-3
For every 2 goals conceded by your goalkeeper or defenders -1
For every yellow card -1 For every red card (includes any yellow card points) -3

    Seems pretty simple to me.

I personally would not have signed up if I had to do all the work for my team myself.
