USA to play the Netherlands in 2010

    SBI Reports, from the LA Times, that the USSF has schedule a friendly for March of 2010 against the Dutch. That would be a huge test for the US as they would be preparing for the World Cup at that time (assuming the next two matches go according to plan).

    While the Dutch are likely to control possession, I'd be interested to see the central midfield group get sorted out and keep the Dutch from going forward. Michael Bradley is established and both Maurice Edu and Jermaine Jones should be ready to go by then as their broken legs heal. Of course, I'll be hoping to see a fair dose of Benny Feilhaber as well.

    This will be a very nice game as Netherlands are always very unpredictable. They could completely dominate, or they could be destroyed. This is the same for any team they play.
