If Pau Gasol were in the all star game, would he be able to go in as a PF and a C? If just one, which?

With that point asside, can old man GO get into the ALL star game? Obviously Timmy Duncan is better, hopefuly not that ugly Mother-L*ker Bynum. Nene?

Gasol would be a PF because thats where he will start most games (unless Bynum gets injured).

Duncan was listed as a PF last year and I think he always has been.

Nene is a center and Amare was a center for the 2008 all star game.

My understanding is that while positions matter for the starting 5, the backups are completely up to the coaches. Thus they are under no obligation to put someone listed as a C on the roster at all. However, the fan voted players can only be voted in if listed at that position on the ballot. I'm not sure who specifically determines how people are listed on that.

My guess is Duncan will have a sudden change of heart, and want to be listed as a C this season.Since there are a lot of Fs to fight with, adn his main competition at C is out for the season, "All of a Sudden" he'll decide he's a C.
