It's hard to pick one this year, because they are all worthy of being Super Bowl champions.

My personal belief before the playoffs even started was that Philly was going to win. They are definately a different team without Westbrook, but I think that they are the best team defense in the playoffs. I'm not taking anything away from New England, but they are the best coached team defense not the best team defense. I know that they have won like 14 strait or something... That just makes me believe that they are due to loose. I don't proffess to know everything, I just have to state my opinion.

Who do you guys think is going to take it?? =)

I'm sorry to here you say that Philly is the best team defenese. they give up a billion yards per carry and if farve isn't and idiot on first down in the overtime Green bay probably wins that game. The new england Defense is by far more talanted and better coached. No question. If you match them up by position this season there is no contest. Then if you just take in to account the health of each defense we are much more healthy. I mean the really is no contest this season. In past seasons I would have agreed but not this year.

I'm picking my sleeper team, Carolina. They aren't getting any respect and I think they have a great chance to beat Philly. Besides, they are the best balanced team remaining. Good defense and good offense, nothing outstanding on either side of the ball. They just play good, sound, fundamental football.

Carolina may beat phillt but to win the superbowl they'll need Stephen Davis back. Foster and whoever else they trot out there will not run on the pats or controll the clock good enough to keep Peyton off the field.

I think the patroits are overlooking the team
they worse fear. It took one last down to beat
the colts the last meeting at the 1 yard line.

Since then indy has been virtually unstopable
and the patroits have looked the same. Indy
and of course manning are on a roll. Something
none of us have ever seen from peyton and the
colts. No punts in the playoffs in 2 games, no
ints in 2 games and 8 td passes by the there qb.

I think over the last 4 weeks of the season.
Manning has spread that ball more then ever
out to all his receivers, we see exactly what tom
brady has done for 2 years. Harrison, wayne,
    stokley,walters, pollard are all threats.

This is gonna be a good game. i like the red hot
colts. I take vanderjet all day over vinteri who's
still is still struggling with fgs over 40 yards.

I think we see antwane smith get stuffed this
weekend and this makes the patroits one sided.

Colts win in a very close game, this time its
    theres for the taking.

Colts win it all in houston.

I doubt the Pats are overlooking anyone and you sadly mistaken for thinking so. I admit I was hoping to face KC and not Indy just cus of Manning but I like our chances of shredding that so called defense of Indy's at home and I dare to say Hunter Smith WILL take the field this sunday more than once. It will be a tight hard fought game but we will run enough to keep Freeny from pinning his ears back and Brady will pick apart a suspect secondary at best. Don't forget Manning will be playing in 0 degree temp and not an Indian Summer like afternoon he saw in KC. That will play a factor. Vinateri has had problems this year and I guess he has some back problems but he did kick yet another game winner didn't he? I'd say that's all that counts.

Indy will choke. Just watch... I think their carriage is about to turn into a pumpkin in the bitter cold of New England's Gillette Stadium. They've had a great run, but the same Indy team that beat Denver and KC will not show up in New England this weekend.

    pats,

Yes adam viniteri has had a inconsistent season
he's still one of the best kickers in the game.
What i was saying is i'd take vanderjet in close
game cause he hasnt missed this year.

If the patroits win this game, its to be expected.
If the colts win this game, they will win this
game being underdogs. Whichever teams wins
this game imo they win the superbowl.

Weather factor i dont think will make a diffrence
its more physcological then it is a factor. Im sure
dungy has his boys outdoors practicing in the cold.

Remember tampabay had a 26 game losing streak
in the cold. Only to break it last year in chicago and
eventually in the playoffs. Indy hasnt had that much
of problem outside. This will be a good one.

I don't see indy to be much of an underdog other than the fact that they are on the road. I jjust see it as the 2 best teams in football and the game should be a pick instead of NE -3 or whatever it is. I can't wait just cus with how hot Indy is it will be our toughest test yet.

    HEYYA"LL im back

I have been real busy hating the eagles and cursing at tv
    jk 700

    I like carolina this year......!!!!!!!!!!!!

I beleive in you need a good offense to win but with a front four like that! WOW!!
I think Don will run for 75 but throw like 2 or 3 ints.
Until the Eagles get a consistent WR im not sold on them plus THEIR LB"S SUCK

I think evry great team is based on the trenches
look back to the last few champs

TAMPA BAY : SAPP, RICE, MCFARLAND, other guy ( IM BLANKING)
    New England: McGinest and company
Ravens: SIRAGUSA(i met him he is funny as hell) and that guy who had a few good sack years

ok i know im not making a lot of sense just break it down and read it slowly!!!!!!!!

I always liked Greg Spires as a pass rusher. It seems like the few chances he got to come into games there was a good chance of a sack. I think one of my favorite plays by him was a hit he put on Peyton Manning but its going to take some research to find out what year and what game. I'm guessing the reason he was let go is he probably fits the mold of a DE best in the 4-3. Too small for a DE in the 3-4 and too big to be a LB.

Research done, October 6th of 2000, Pats 24 Indy 16. I wasn't sure if I was at that game until I read the 44 yard hail mary pass of Bishop to Simmons which if I remember correctly was at the corner of the endzone I was sitting at. I was wrong about Greg Spires sack though, he had 2 sacks! One name that caught my eye was Andy Katzenmoyer. All I remember is that he walked away from the game because of a neck injury. Has anyone heard anything since?

Andy katzmoyer retired from the nfl
He decided it was to much of risk to
play in the nfl with the neck injury he
had. Its sad they say he was the best
    middle linebacker since chris spielman
at osu. He was too nervious to play after
    his neck surgery.

Ya he would have been a solid LB and looked good in his short time here.

Bucs would probably remember the exact time frame but I thought he played the majority of the regular season before being put on IR.
