Yankees Won't Bring In 'Big Name Outfielder"

    Cashman says, and I quote- "It won't be a big-name situation," he said. "I can promise you that."

    So I guess he is ruling out Holliday and Bay. I don't understand why. They traded away Melky and Austin Jackson. We pretty much don't have a left fielder right now, and the Granderson really isn't that good. The Yankees need to sign an outfielder. I don't understand why they wont.

    I hope they don't sign Bay, I'm not much of a fan of him. He doesn't have that great of an arm in the OF and he's not that great of a hitter.

    That being said, if he can hit 36 HRs in Fenway with basically no protection around him in the lineup, I'd be shocked if he didn't hit 40+ at Yankee Stadium, especially given the protection he'd have around him in that lineup.

    They still might sign Johnny Damon.
