Obama and the liberals that follow him are communists. In communism everyone is "equal" and life is "fair". Whatever anyone earns is taken from them and distributed "fairly" among everyone else. Who gets what you earned and how much is decided by Obama and his administration. Everyone, even those who are not part of the "commune" (i.e. illegal immigrants) are welcome to what you earned and what Obama decides is fair to give them. The new healthcare plan is part of this "entitlement" package that the communists will give to everyone.
Yea and capitalism is much better enjoy everything becoming more hollow and senseless as we follow the love of the money.
And we all know that if anything, Rush is a man of his word. But I don't see how him "moving out of the country" matters. He could still do his show from outside of the country.
When he predicted death squads if this passed, he was thinking about his new home in Central America. Door-to-door death squads is how the US won in El Salvador and Iraq.
I believe we all have a right to health care. By that I mean the Government can not refuse us the ability to procure it. I do not believe we have the right to force people to pay for the health care of others. I wonder what happens when the Government denies someone a treatment they'd like to receive and pay for themselves simply because there's not enough health care to go around? Will those who scream "Health care is a right!" still defend this legislation?
It's like your TV, but in reverse. $2,000. And if you have a really good policy and aren't in a union, you'll be taxed on that.
Premiums will have to go up. Although some of the changes are not for a few years, healthcare companies will be required to: * cover "children" up to age 26 on the parents coverage * no more caps on the amount of healthcare coverage; most policies become exhausted at either $2 or $3 million, but now, they will have an unlimited ceiling * healthcare companies will not be able to turn anyone down with a pre existing condition * healthcare companies will be charged hundreds of billions to support the government program * expansion of medicare with reductions in benifits, thus forcing doctors/hospitals to charge the healthcare companies more These steps, in and of themselves, will most likely triple or quadruple the cost of healthcare aside from the usual increases. That cost is passed along to the subscribers of the plans. When it becomes untenable to afford those costs, we will turn to a single national healthcare system- the stated end result of this initial step of "reform". To be sure, this is the fisrt dramatic step of a painful journey.
