The midfielder has had an outstanding season, contributing 19 goals in 36 first-team appearances for the Gunners. Arsenal's captain is one of four nominees in each category and members of the Professional Footballs' Association will vote for who they think should win the awards. Gordon Taylor OBE, chief executive of the PFA said this about Fabregas: "When you watch him play, you simply sit back and marvel at the skills of the perfect engine-room player. "He is such a crucial player to both Arsenal and Spain, and the difference he makes to those teams is immeasurable. A magnificent player who has brought so much to Arsenal, and the Premier League as a whole."
