Rory MacDonald vs. Tarec Saffiedine to headline Fight Night 54 in Halifax.
September's first Fight Night event will feature quite a few good ones...
Gegard Mousasi vs. Ronaldo Souza
Alistair Overeem vs. Ben Rothwell
Matt Mitrione vs. Derrick Lewis
Joe Lauzon vs. Michael Chiesa
Nik Lentz vs. Charles Oliveira
Yes to that whole televised card.
UFC lightweight Mark Bocek, 32, has retired. Bocek was 12-5 in MMA, 8-5 in the UFC. Bocek was always a favourite of the UFC not only for being the original BJJ coach of Dana White and the Fertitta's but for his professionalism and willingness to fight on short notice. The Toronto native was a two time Submission of the Night winner who was never finished in a fight.
Halifax show gets Caraway/Assuncao and VanZant/Curran.
If you don't know who Paige VanZant is go ahead and give her a Google. Worthwhile.
Wanderlei Silva has called Hendo out. Hendo accepted and said he would do it at MW or LHW. He wants to fight at the end of year.
Make it happen UFC.
Silva isn't going to get licensed.
They won't even let Sonnen do Metamoris grappling FFS.
Frank Edgar is down (like a frown, Murphy Brown) for a fight with Cub Swanson on FOX.
Ben Killa B Saunders announces he's returning to the UFC.
Saunder's TKO of Brandon Wolff is burned into my memory.
Rumours swirling that Bellator have made an offer to Gina Carano.
The Jones/Cormier bout has been postponed until January. Jones has a leg injury.
Johnson/Cariaso moved to be main event of 178 (like 177 needed to lose another fight).
"There's something I want to tell you but I have to wait a little longer #mma"
The UFC has not considered giving Gustafsson the fight back.
Fucking balls! I was so looking forward to that card.
Bobby Green is fighting "call me whenever" Donald Cerrone at UFC 178.
I love Cowboy.
Bellator would like to match Paul Daley and Melvin Manhoef up before the end of the year. Slobberknocker.
Ant'ny Johnson is open to fighting Ryan Bader, then Alex Gustafsson, but won't ever fight Rashad Evans.
He'll murder Bader.
I don't like the Gus fight...yet. I think both should get a shot at the champ before they fight. No reason in eliminating a contender with so few of them out there right now.

It's most definitely Lillard-time
