The Tulsa Talons of the AFL announced today Trey Medlock has been hired as the team's new President. Medlock comes to the Talons with a wealth of experience in the sports and arena football industries.

Prior to his arrival in Tulsa, Medlock worked in the Central Hockey League (CHL) and the former af2. His most recent stop was the President and General Manager of Broomfield Sports and Entertainment which consisted of the Broomfield Entertainment Center, the Rocky Mountain Rage of the CHL and the Colorado 14ers of the National Basketball Developmental League.

He took over as General Manager of the Maddox foundation which owned the Memphis RiverKings of the CHL and the Memphis Xplorers of the af2 in 2005. That same year the Xplorers won the ArenaCup championship.

Medlock was also Managing General Partner and President of the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees of the CHL and the Rio Grande Valley Dorados of the af2 from 2003-2005. During his time with the Killer Bees and Dorados, he was recognized once in each league as the Executive of the Year.

"Getting the opportunity to work with the ownership and current staff which I have known for a long time was the perfect situation for me to get back into the sports industry. Tulsa should be known as a city that is big league and the Tulsa Talons and the Arena Football League are just that, said Medlock".

To order tickets to the number 1 ranked team in the AFL, call the Talons office at 294-1000. Tickets start as low as $10.
