After playing the early moments of the second half as if it was content with a draw, Austin's bend-but-don't-break defense finally cost the Aztex. Rochester's Anthony Hamilton capped a near 10-minute Rhino possession with the game-winning goal in the 68th minute Sunday. A loose rebound, one of several during the stretch, was sent in by Tyler Rosenlund to substitute Aaron Pitchkolan, who headed the ball just enough to send it to an open Hamilton for the goal and a 2-1 victory. Austin's defense struggled to clear the ball during the extended possession, giving Rochester two set pieces and multiple shots that required goalkeeper Miguel Gallardo to come off his line for a punch. Rochester (1-1-1, four points) was able to keep tracking down the loose balls and Austin (2-1-0, six points) was repeatedly caught looking for help, suffering its first loss of the season. http://www.statesman.com/sports/pro/aztex-suffer-first-loss-621655.html
