The Tulsa Talons dropped 2 positions in this week's Coaches Poll and are now the fourth ranked team in the Arena Football League after suffering a one point loss to the Arizona Rattlers on the road. There were 21 lead changes in the game between the Talons and Rattlers with the Talons holding a 5 point lead and no time left on the clock. Due to off-setting penalties, Arizona was allowed to run one more offensive play and took full advantage by scoring a 26 yard touchdown to make the final 77-76.

The Talons are 2-1 on the season after beating perennial AFL powerhouse the Tampa Bay Storm in week one 69-58 and coming from behind for a thrilling victory over the Dallas Vigilantes in week two 63-59.
