According to the New York Post, BYU's Jimmer Fredette and Tennessee's Bobby Maze will work out for the Knicks today. A league executive tells the newspaper that Fredette is a Mark Price-type of player. The Knicks own the 38th and 39th picks in the NBA draft. Players they could target, besides Fredette, include Cincinnati's Lance Stephenson, Louisville's Samando Samuels, West Virginia's Da'Sean Butler and Syracuse's Andy Rautins. "He's been impressive. It's helped him that the teams that employ stat geeks are getting word back that Fredette ranks as the No. 2 point guard in the draft based on their modeling. I've also heard he's worked out really well. I thought he was a lock to return to school, but am not so sure now. If a team promises him a pick in the first round, he'll stay. We'll know for sure on Saturday. If he stays in the draft, some team enticed him to stay in." Source: NY Post
