Shocking to me it has taken this long. All he does is spend.

SACKED!!...lol...the fat waiter. What took them so long, such an overrated manager who made crap signings and cried to death over not having sufficient funds. Pool fans should be happy, perhaps they may win something next season.

you are all very very wrong, he's a fantastic manager and will do well wherever he goes. Liverpool, on the other hand, are pretty much fucked. How on earth do you attract a decent manager who's going to have no transfer funds and nothing but parasitic, greedy owners?

Benitez has proved that he's a great cup manager, not good enough to win league tittles.

Aside from the two he won in 3 years at Valencia. And last season he took Liverpool to a record points total for a non title winning team. All with a very modest net transfer budget and especially wage budget compared to other top four clubs (link 1, 2).

That may of been relevant last season, but he overspent every season before that.

In six years Rafa Benitez spent £266m and only signed four top players : Torres, Reina, Xabi Alonso and Mascherano.

I can see why the yanks didnt want to give him anymore money to spend, he's a joke in the transfer market. But somehow always had the nerve to cry about not having any money to spend.

RAFA the Genius, found this gem from redcafe...lol
