http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/67368/20100622/raja_bell_lakers_have_mutual_interest/ First Ron, now Raja??? Who's next? Matt Barnes?!
I find it ironic how Kobe favors him.
^probably gonna get back at him in practice lol are we offering the MLE to him? id prefer mike miller.
No MLE, most likely just vet min. For that price I'd take him. I was not a big fan of him for obvious reasons, but he was a very good role player for the Suns. I don't know his condition now, last I checked he was injured most of last year. I guess it wouldn't hurt though, to sign him for cheap and let him back up Kobe/Ron. Still need a PG though. (Steve Blake )
Sure let's keep getting every single player Kobe has had a feud with Who's next? Matt Barnes or Ray Allen?
^imagine when kobe drives and dishes out... we can finally expect the shot to have a high chance of going in... Kobe w/ 7-8 apg w/ a pure shooter like allen on the team? lol
I really hate Ray Allen, but damn he'd be amazing in the Triangle offense with the way he moves without the basketball. I don't think we can afford him though.
Raja is 6'5. Anyone who knows more about his game, he is capable of defending small forwards? Also, if he does join our team, can he play in a Ron Harper role and play the point?
Update ... As we noted last week, the Lakers are reportedly after Raja Bell in free agency this summer, something ESPN The Magazine's Ric Bucher also touched on Monday. But Bell is making other intentions known, at least publicly. "I've talked a lot about it with my agent and my family," Bell said on The Jorge Sedano Show on 790 The Ticket, according to Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel. "Miami is my first choice. If there would be any interest from the Heat I would give it a ponder. It's my home town." The Heat traded Daequan Cook and their No. 18 pick to the Thunder last week. Cook was a 3-point shooter for the team, hitting a respectable 38.7 percent in the 2008-2009 season. Bell has shot 41.1 percent from distance during his 10-year NBA career, so he could shore up Cook's void and then some if he signed with the Heat. It's likely the Heat will figure out where they stand with LeBron James and some of the other big names before making a pass at a guy like Bell, if they indeed decide to pursue him. 'Miami is my first choice'
Miami won't have the MLE so hopefully they won't throw him a Lamar-esque contract and we can steal him
He could sign a vet minimum contract with the Bulls and clothesline Kobe again in the Finals this season.
