John Salmons did the expected Tuesday and exercised his early termination option. He is now a free agent. According to the Journal Sentinel, the Buck want to re-sign Salmons.

He would have made $5.8 million next season if he did not opt out of his contract.

The Bucks must decide by Wednesday night if they want to keep Carlos Delfino and his $3.5 million salary for next season or waive him and pay $500,000.

All reports have the Bucks retaining Delfino.

To tell the truth, it would be stupid to let Delfino walk. For 3.5M, Delfino is a fine role player that does a little bit of everything.

Carlos Delfino will return to the Bucks for the 2010-11 season. Delfino's contract became fully guaranteed since he was not waived Wednesday.
Delfino will make $3.5 million next season.
