Portland trades LMA, Bayless and future 1st round pick Minny trades Al Jefferson, rights to Rubio Knicks S&T Lee and future 1st round pick Suns S&T Amare Portland receives Amare and rights to Rubio Knicks recieve LMA and Blazer's future 1st round pick Suns receive Al Jefferson and Bayless Minny recieves Lee and Knicks future pick
I'm working on a 30 team, 450 player trade proposal. Every player changes teams! I'll post it here as soon as the ESPN trade machine is updated to allow it. barfo
I realize it is easier to criticize that be creative Barfman. LOL Tell me though - would you not trade LMA, Bayless and a future 1st round pick to wind up with Amare and Rubio's rights? Still leaves us with JPEC and Miller come the trade deadline...perhaps for Melo? Rubio Roy Mello Amare Oden in 2011/2012 not bad
don't really want to appear to defend the idea...as it was a hail Mary... But from reports, Minny is looking to move Jefferson; Knicks need to get something in return for Lee (only thru a S&T at this point); Suns also need something in return for Amare (only thru a S&T at this point). All teams win: Portland obtains Amare and rights to Rubio (since we're not going to land CP3...or any other top 5 PG for that matter); Suns get a Center in Al Jefferson (and Bayless) Knicks get LMA and a pick (Portland) Minny gets rid of Jefferson - gets Lee (who they are interested in now) along with a great #1 pick from NY (to make up for moving Rubio (who doesn't want to play in Minny)
That is absolutely true. That's why I choose to be a critic. (Although in this particular case I was just trying to be amusing) I'm not sure. I don't care much about Bayless, but I'm not sure I believe in Rubio. Especially given our history with Spaniards, that seems like a high-risk play. I like Amare but I'm not sure he's a better fit here than LMA if Oden recovers. barfo
