With the three-game suspension of Chargers receiver Vincent Jackson underway and Jackson unable (in the league's view) to commence his three-game placement on the roster exempt list until his three-game suspension ends, the NFLPA reportedly will proceed with an effort to obtain a ruling that would limit Jackson's banishment to three games. As we explained last month, the union believes that, if Jackson is traded during his three-game suspension, the placement of Jackson on the roster exempt list will not attach to his new team. Since a new team won't be interested in trading for Jackson without knowing whether he'll be available for 13 games or only 10, it becomes important to resolve the issue sooner rather than later. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/category/rumor-mill/2.php
I hope they suspend his ass for the full 6 he should serve. They are two different suspensions for two different problems.
