Babbit got voted the best shooter by a huge margin. Glad to hear that, his shot seemed a little off in summer league.

I'm betting it was Elliot who said Roy was their fav. I think he said something about really wanting to play with Roy and looking up to him in his interview.

Did Ramon Sessions go to Nevada? I think he did. I bet it was Babbitt or Armon Johnson who voted for him...

The ones who got one vote are in alphabetical order. I assume these choices came from playing against each other in pre-draft camps. There could be some low-pick steals here. For example, to the overlooked list, I inserted the draft position.

    40 1. Lance Stephenson, Indiana -- 17.9 percent
    16 2. Luke Babbitt, Portland -- 10.3 percent
    43 3. Devin Ebanks, L.A. Lakers -- 7.7 percent
    --- 4. Jeremy Lin, Golden State -- 6.4 percent
    21 5. Craig Brackins, New Orleans -- 5.1 percent
    10 5. Paul George, Indiana -- 5.1 percent
    27 7. Jordan Crawford, Atlanta -- 3.8 percent

I actually consider this a somewhat bad omen. IMO, the best shooters in each class tend to be the unheralded ones. Not that Babbit is a huge name, but being regarded as the best shooter coming in tends to indicate he's got some struggles in store.

Curry was voted the best shooter in his class last year by a fair margin.

I would answer your insult with a well reasoned response, but forget it with your childish mentality. Some people are here to talk basketball and some are just trolls. At least we know where you stand.

    Next thread.

Actually, if any of the rooks head to D-League, I would imagine it would be either the lower-drafted guys or, perhaps, even Pendergraph (that is, if the Blazers address backup PF and Jeff isn't involved in a trade.)

I would think our 1st drafted guy was drafted out of (a)need or (2)BPA....perhaps, both. To me, that wouldn't equate to D League material.

And he was also among the best overall players in his class. I call that the Glen Rice exception. It's the guys that come in with a reputation as pure shooters (and not much else) that generally either don't pan out or take several years to adjust. The best shooters are usually the Anthony Morrow's that you never heard of in college.

He did well in the last game I believe. You could tell he was getting better by then and hitting shots. I doubt he will get much playing time, but I look forward to seeing how he does when he does get to play.

Yeah, but can he shoot the long ball? Didn't think so.
