A period late. Had school stuff to deal with, but I saw the 1st.

    1-0 Isles now. Matt Moulson.

Still 1-0 after two. Looks like something we've seen before. Hopefully Toronto can change fate and finally win a game like this. It's about time they started winning games they're supposed to win.

John Tavares scores on the powerplay, and that's the end of the winning-streak.

    LOL!!! It's alright.

4-0-1 is not bad considering most people thought we'd be picking up where we left off last season... at the bottom.

I know a lot of people are angry at the officiating in this game, but honestly, Toronto had their chances to end this one, and their play dipped big time in the 2nd period.

It's not until the Armstrong goal was waived off that they finally got back on top of things, though the Leafs really did dominate the game the whole way though.

Kudos to Roli. He was good in net for the Isles.

Glad Toronto showed some character in the loss. That was the kind of game this team needed this season to motivate them to more wins.

    It was for the best.

Versteeg's goal should have counted, IMHO.

But, great goal late on the PP to keep us the extra point. I don't care if we are 65/2099 on the power play, as long as those 65 points are ones that take us to OT or win us games; amen.

This years Leafs are showing a kinda of hockey not seen since the distant early 90s. No dirty puck turn over, lack of skating Leaf hockey. It's now fast, hard for-checking GOGOGO hockey.....Lord Stanley. we a comin.
