    Hey!

Do you have time to make signatures for posters?

    What about avatars?

If we need GFX for the site, how many of you have the time and willingness to help out?

The biggest thing any community or organization needs is a brand. We have SportsTwo, For Sports Fans by Sports Fans. That alright, but now we need to add a consistent design style to that. Same colors for anything related to SportsTwo, same logo with alternative similar logos. If an overall skinning and redesign of the forum will occur, we need a team with the same materials, aka hex codes and texts. If its for signatures and avatars for players and teams, then stick with the "brand" of the team.

I basically have all the NHL banners. I'm not sure if any side smaller images are needed for them. Its very easy to do... I used this website

Do they fit the scheme for the banners already up? That is, two pieces... one is one pixel wide and 90px (I think) tall that gets stretched as the browser is expanded. The other is the logo in the center.

Look at the top banner on this page.

The blue that goes across the whole thing. That's 1 pixel wide and 90px tall. It's repeated as many times as it takes to fill the width of the browser. There's a graphic on top of it in the center that says "SportsTwo (logo) for sports fans by sports fans"

The sportstwo graphic was done so it antialiases (and whatever other effects) on top of the repeated 1pixel wide one perfectly.

The 1 pixel wide one is repeated using HTML and CSS. It's automatic.

The banners were done this way so you can make the browser really wide and it works, or you can shrink it narrow and it works.

One more thing, the powered by sportstwo is already done, and it's the same one used on every banner. It's a 3rd graphic.

    Sweet.

    To be technical...

the banner is done as an HTML table with three columns, 33% width each. Using 33% makes it expand.

    The table has CSS style background: blue url(/img/1pixelwide.jpg) x-repeat;

Column 1 has the powered by sportstwo, text-align: bottom

Column 2 has the sportstwo logo, centered

Column 3 has nothing in it, but it's needed to keep column 2 in the center.

So I have the NHL banners close to being complete. I did the filler images to. But the left image is difficult. Theres no template to go off of to make it. Do you have one with every color already? I'm pretty sure you can use the ones from the NBA. Bulls for red... Celtics for green... Knicks for blue... Kings for purple... The only problem are some of the other colors I made up.. Orange, Black and Gold.

I gave you the URL to download all the graphics, including the .PSD files. Is what you need not there?

I found a way to get past it.. Do you have the NFL banners? Cause I have them and I didn't make them.. I take it you didn't put them up yet?

How do you want me to send the NHL banners, side fillers and left column images to you? Email will take FOREVER... 120 files...

The thing is I don't want others to get the PSD's. Should I just take the PSD's out and send you the JPEG's?

If you could get the Oregon Ducks forum done, it'd make a few people happy.
