Chelsea's poor form continues as Drogba misses an injury-time penalty to give the hosts a deserved point at White Hart Lane.

I believe Spurs' wingers were the key players in the match. Gareth Bale continued his stunning form with several magical runs down the left while Lennon also played a decent game on the other side of the pitch.

Tottenham kept feeding deep balls to the left of the pitch giving Bale 50/50 balls to run on to -- He beat Ferreira almost every time. Defoe was also lurking in the area making it a double threat.

This tactic worked in the 16th minute when Defoe beautifully found Pavlyuchenko in the box who turned and finished wonderfully.

The rest of the second-half was uneventful. Chelsea stepped up their game and found a couple of chances through Kalou and Anelka. They did get the ball in the back of the net but Anelka was correctly judged offside.

Drogba came off the bench in the second-half to create a couple of chances of Chelsea. In the 70th minute they found their equalizer. Drogba found some space behind the back four, rifled a shot straight at Gomes who allowed the ball to bounce off of his hands and into the net.

The next set of events is the usual Chelsea script. Gomes rushes out of his crease and slams into Ramires and the ref has no choice but to give a penalty. Gomes guesses correctly and denies Drogba a second goal.

Would of been harsh if you ask me.

    Full-time: Tottenham 1-1 Chelsea
