Aldridge has made the front page of Yahoo NBA, and Marc Spears has a nice article on him: http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news;_ylt=AuVzIuUtI0_XVy2SvVrYF.C8vLYF?slug=mc-afterthebuzzer012111

Wasn't Pendy playing center when he blew his knee out against Utah?

F ing A right LMA, you tell em.

We have virtually no center right now with Joel less than healthy, should get interesting to say the least..

The center position is like the drummer for Spinal Tap; I'll call LMA a PF if it helps him avoid spontaneously combusting.

    It goes way back.

    Walton, cut short with injuries.
    Sabonis, arrived damaged.
Dudley, broke his ankle and missed his first year with the team.
    And don't forget Raef LaFrentz.
Ha, hit in the crotch by Sheed's "pass".

I think LMA (I REFUSE to call him LA) is onto something.

I think that the Blazers should just go with two power forwards and avoid the devil's triangle that surrounds the center position here.

Being a center on the Blazers is the equivalent of wearing the red uniform on Star Trek.

LA is the new face of the franchise and its a disgrace guys like love and griffin will get the all star game over him. Love is stat padder on a shitty team and griffin is a highlight player. thats it. ive been unimpressed with both.

Many times it takes more than a year of All Star level play to make the team for the first time. After you've made it, there's an assumption that you'll make it the next year. The hard part is making it the first time. If LA keeps up this level of play, he'll make the team in 2011-12 (if there's a season).

Griffin deserves an All-Star spot. His defense is not great, but it is not shitty, especially for a rook. He is also a guy people have to work hard to game plan for. Aldridge deserves an all-star spot as well. The opposing teams needs to plan to stopping him. There is no way around it - and his defense is actually very good, especially when you notice that he actually guards everything from 1 to 5s - because of all the switching this team does. Love does not deserve an all-star spot. He is great at what he does, but his defense is atrocious - and honestly - you do not need to plan defensively for him - other than - rebound. Great complimentary player, great stats, great motor - not an all-star.

I think the coaches put LMA in, Stern puts Griffin in. Love will not make it.

I have an idea, we'll just have two power forwards from now on.

    Problem solved.
