Garbajosa nails 3 with 42 seconds left to push rap

EDIT: Title is Garbajosa sorry!The score was 88-88 and Garbajosa nailed the 3 with 42 seconds to go..... then a louse ball foul was called, raptors sunk both and there lead was 93-88. Raptors Win!I dont have enough time to write a game recap but I will tommorow.Key Notes:- Bargnani scored 2 threes, but 4 fouls- Arenas lit it up with 29 points- Fred Jones was scoring jumper after jumper late in the game.- Jarvis Hayes tied the game with under 3 minutes to go with about 6 straight points I think.- Humphries 14 minutes 9 points- Abismal raptors 1st quarter 21% FG- Raptors got killed in the paint as usual 32 - 12- Wizards 24 turnovers Raptors 19more to come

doesn't mean too much but hey, im sure alot of guys got alot of minutes...

 

Daym we still got crushed in the paint.. like last year.

 

Did u expect anything otherwise....they didnt really do anything to fill their need IMO. Sure, they picked up Rasho but he isnt that effectice what so ever. And Bargnani cant play in the paint yet.

 

I actually adressed that, but it is becuase Rasho and Bargnani had I think about 13 minutes a piece of playing, he was playing Garbajosa as Center, hes not used to it, while all the Washington players except for 1 had 25+ minutes, and don't count out Gilbert Arenas's 29 points. You could also tell the defense improved holding the wiz to only 88 points, means our perimeter d has been improved and if our centers adjust our in the paint d will adjust too.

 

Don't get your hopes high. When the 1st unit stepped off for the 2nd and 4th quarters, that's when the Raptors took advantage.

 

No its not, raptors took charge in the 2nd quarter too finishing off in a lead. Plus gilbert scored 29 points. And your telling me he wasnt trying his best?

If that 1st unit would've played at least half the quarter, they would've won.
